The meeting brings together health practitioners, researchers and academics, policy makers and those working in the humanitarian sector and its purpose is to share experiences and reinforce local, national and regional partnerships to prevent and reduce the impact of violence against health care. Speakers will offer insights into a range of topics including practical measures being taken to enhance safety and security in healthcare facilities, legal and policy measures as well as examine the impact of the COVID19 pandemic on health workers and its implication in terms of violence to name a few. Those participating will also have an opportunity to engage with the speakers in the sessions.
